FAQs
Q: How do I prepare for the visit?
A: Please turn off air purifiers 24hrs prior to our home visit. If you have an HRV (heat recovery ventilator) or ERV(energy recovery ventilator) unit as part of your whole home mechanical system, also shut it off as well 24hrs prior.
Q: Will you make any damage to the home during the assessment?
A: Assessments are completely non-destructive. Only in cases where we collect cavity wall samples, a very small hole (no bigger than 3/8") is made in an inconspicuous area for the tubing to collect cavity air samples.
Q: Can we be home during the assessment?
A: Yes, we require a homeowner/resident to be there while our technician is on site to answer any questions and provide a tour or the property and areas of concern.
Q: Is the equipment loud/noisy?
A: Our mold pumps are the only equipment that generate any noise. However the decible level on the unit is very low and unless you are standing right next to the unit you wont hear it running.
Q: How long until I get my results?
A: Once we have received the lab results, we prepare a report with the findings & recommendations in about 3 business days. However, for ERMI dust samples it can be up to 1 week.
Q: How do I pay for the service?
A: We accept majority of credit cards, Zelle, Venmo and Debit.
